The artwork produced is intended to reinforce ideas, ideals, and identities which we should hold closer in our day to day. That base optimism through to the nuanced understanding of our selves and how sorrow is needed to truly define joy. Through ironic visual metaphor it highlights how in many ways the complicated is as basic as the idea itself. We are not seeing, not feeling enough of what it means to live compassionate empathetic and true lives, so those very things are rendered visible in what should be felt.
